INDIAN WELLS GOLF RESORT
Provides two world-class golf courses for all levels of play, from amateur to pro on 430 lush acres of landscape. In 2008 it ranked in the Top 20 of daily-fee golf clubs in the State of California by Golfweek's Best Courses and First and Second in a Top 25 ranking of Greenskeeper.org with a 9.85 "Immaculate" rating. The Celebrity Course, home of the famous LG Skins Game and the newly unveiled Player's Course offer extraordinary golf in a spectacular setting. A lighted putting course, practice facility, golf shop, Performance Center, Club, dining and choice of accommodations make this the complete golf experience. INDIAN WELLS TENNIS GARDEN
A prime destination for tennis players from around the globe, the famed Indian Wells Tennis Garden, is home of the prestigious Pacific Life Open. The fifth largest tennis tournament in the world, the 14-day event ranks along with Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the French Open and the U.S. Open as world-class events. The Tennis Garden features a state-of-the-art stadium, including a 16,100-seat arena with additional luxurious stadium suites. The facility also boasts 13 sunken courts, six practice courts and two clay courts spread across 88 acres in this desert oasis. Open to the public, the club offers discounted rates to visiting hotel guests and Corporate Packages. The Tennis Professional Staff offers a year-round instructional program including private lessons, group lessons, and camps, for all ages and abilities.
ELDORADO POLO CLUB
"Eldorado's location is among the most beautiful in the world. Nestled against the mountains at the east end of the Coachella Valley, the club seems a tropical paradise. The days are balmy most of the season, and the warm desert nights are heavy with the scent of orange blossoms. Los Angeles is a scant two hours away, Palm Springs less than a half hour, but there is a magic feeling of isolation, of being a long penalty shot from the end of the world." At 50, Eldorado Polo Club is one of the oldest, premier event and entertainment sites in California. Eldorado Polo Club has played host to the prestigious U.S. Open Polo Championships three times. A member of the USPA Pacific Coast Circuit, polo is played December through April with other events scheduled throughout the year.
HOT AIR BALLOONING
Experience the unique adventure of modern hot air ballooning! Enjoy a 'bird's eye view' of majestic mountains surrounding a patch panorama of cities, farms, resorts, and the natural desert. The Palm Springs area offers a wonderful contrast between the desert landscape with wild flowers and sagebrush and the beauty of lush country clubs and over 100 golf resorts. The interesting agricultural area to the east includes date palm groves, vineyards, and citrus groves. Through out the flight your pilot will point out interesting sites like celebrity homes, the windmill farms, and natural landmarks like San Andreas earthquake fault and the Salton Sea. Upon landing, follow a 200-year-old tradition with ballooning and sip iced Champagne.
PALM SPRING AERIAL TRAMWAY
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway in Palm Springs, opened in 1963 as a way of getting from the warmer floor of the Coachella Valley to near the top of the cooler San Jacinto Peak. Today, the tram is one of the biggest attractions in Southern California. In 2000 the world's largest, 360 rotating cars. were installed. The eight-and-a-half-minute ride beginning at the Valley Station and depositing you at the Mountain Station, 8516 feet above sea level. The air can be as much as 40°F (25°C) cooler at the top than in the desert. Visitors can walk along nature trails, or play in the snow during the winter months. Back-country hiking can be done with a permit from the U.S Forest Service. There are two restaurants at the summit. The view at the top can stretch northward for more than 200 miles on a clear day. Views to the east and west can stretch as far as 75 miles (120 km); the Salton Sea can be seen to the southeast. In other words:"On A Clear Day You Can See Forever."
COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

THE STAGECOACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL
Are you a country music fan? The Country Music Festival, at The Empire Polo Grounds near Indio was made for you. Expanded to 3 days and taking place annually in May. The crowds, anywhere from 40,000 a day, find themselves immersed in country, waiting for a line up of some of todays most popular and fantastic country music artists. No other place on earth offers such a widely varying type of crowd, and glorious desert landscape, than at the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio. Music, Food, and Lots of Fun!
PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Started in 1989 as a marketing effort by then Mayor Sonny Bono. when he collaborated with local theaters to increase tourism by starting a "mini-fest" of sorts. 12 films were shown to approximately 300 people. The Palm Springs International Film Festival is now one of the largest film festivals in the country, screening over 200 films from more than 60 countries The Palm Springs International Film Festival has become one of the premier events of the season; each year drawing bigger crowds and more media. The Film Festival attracts over 100,000+ attendees throughout the 12-day extravaganza, and has become one of the most popular film festivals in the nation, perhaps second only to Sundance. A Black Tie Gala, honoring some of today's stars of stage and screen, is a fitting tribute to the ongoing connection between Palm Springs and Hollywood!
